This year's Eagles are one of the more polarizing teams in the NFL, and no one is really sure what to make of them yet.
If Sam Bradford stays healthy, DeMarco Murray produces behind a lesser offensive line, and Chip Kelly's fast-paced offensive system outruns the rest of the league, they could make a deep postseason run. But if Bradford's injury woes pop up again, Murray drops off away from Dallas, and Kelly's offensive system is overshadowed by his system of getting rid of important players, things could get ugly quickly in Philadelphia.
One Eagles fan, however, couldn't care less about the high-risk, high-reward nature of his team. In fact, he laughs in the face of caution. And to show how confident he is in his favorite franchise, he got a tattoo.
Of this year's Super Bowl trophy.
Right on his neck.
Take a look for yourself at this bold man's bold (or is questionable a better word?) decision here:

A few things stand out about this particular piece of ink. First, the location: That thing can only be concealed by a sweatshirt or a turtleneck (which no one even owns anymore). Getting any tattoo takes guts; getting one on your neck, though? Your guts have to have guts for a decision like that. Second, the team he did it for: 19 organizations have hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in NFL history; the Eagles aren't one of them. Yikes.
As CBSSports points out, fans of the Cowboys, Lions, and Seahawks have pulled a stunt similar to this one before — and none of their teams won the title that season. So far, it looks like getting a Super Bowl tattoo actually guarantees that the guys you watch on Sunday won't win it all. But perhaps this case will be different.
If not, though, that fan better be ready to stock up on some turtlenecks, because he'll need to do some serious neck-covering in the future.
