If Pierre Garçon is looking to receive some advice before he soon appears on the popular game show Family Feud, he should absolutely stay away from teammate Vernon Davis.
As long as Garçon — one of 20 NFL players set to compete on the long-running program (the final product will air July 3) — answers whatever questions come his way in even somewhat competent fashion, he'll surpass Davis' infamous performance from last June, in which the then-49er most notably responded to, "If you're good at reading body language, what part of a woman speaks the loudest?" with "Her feet." It'll obviously be in No. 88's best interests to avoid fumbling like that on national TV when it's his turn to take the stage.
The Burgundy and Gold pass catcher is a part of a team comprised of NFC offensive players, including Teddy Bridgewater. Garçon and Co. will be facing off against an AFC defensive squad featuring the likes of Von Miller and Tamba Hali.
There are also AFC offensive and NFC defensive groups that'll take part in this edition of the Feud, which'll be split up into two shows. Former 'Skin Terrance Knighton and current Raven Steve Smith are among others who'll do battle in the episodes, with the winners in each earning money for selected charities.
It's no secret that Garçon is fiery on the field — sometimes on Sundays it feels like he's a linebacker trapped in a receiver's body. Now, that passion is about to be on display in a different forum, and for fans who may not be familiar with it. To be frank: If someone is going to shatter the Family Feud button while attempting to buzz in and answer or take issue with producers if the survey says his opinion is wrong, Garçon is a safe bet.
