The guys who call the shots for the Redskins still have to decide on whether adding Josh Norman, who is visiting the team on Friday, is a move they want to fully pursue. There are certainly reasons to make sure the cornerback doesn't depart from Washington's facility until his signature is on a contract, but then there are other factors that make the potential transaction a risky one.
Just don't try to sell members of the franchise who take the field on Sundays about the cons of pursuing Norman, because they're already all in on landing him.
Check out some of the tweets Redskins players have sent out since hearing their organization is interested in possibly employing the 28-year-old, including some from two defensive lineman who would very much love having an improved secondary behind them:

Then there's this from safety Duke Ihenacho, who currently sports the number Norman wore while with the Panthers:
Yo...I hope we sign Josh Norman...so he can throw me some cash for this #24 that I know he's gonna want hahaha. #ItsAllYoursFam lol

If you wanna wear #24 still...if you wanna play for a team with tradition...If you wanna play your boy twice a year ...come to death row!

And finally, there was a message from the man himself, which was retweeted by, among plenty of others, 'Skins corner DeAngelo Hall:

While the final call lies in the hands of Scot McCloughan, Jay Gruden and a few others, it's not hard to see where current players stand. They aren't worried about the salary cap, they aren't scared about his age — all they see is an elite talent that's available, and they want that talent to be in Burgundy and Gold in 2016.
