Wizards star John Wall came out to RFK Stadium Friday night to watch the Nation's Football Classic between Howard and Hampton. Each year, Howard plays another historically black college in the AT&T sponsored game.
Joining him were two of his newest Wizards teammates, rookie Kelly Oubre Jr. and offseason acquisition Alan Anderson.
Wall first hinted he might make an appearance earlier this afternoon.

He made good on his word, bringing along Oubre and Anderson for what was likely one of their first D.C. sports experiences.

Wall has a long history of supporting Washington sports teams, attending Mystics, Redskins, Capitals and Nationals games throughout his time with the Wizards. So it's no surprise to see him Friday at an important game on Howard football's schedule.
The Bison have struggled to start this season. They did not score in their first two games of the year, a 49-0 loss at Appalachian State on September 5 and a 76-0 loss at Boston College on September 12.
They'll look to turn things around on home turf, in front of other hometown athletes, on Friday night.
