The tension began in the first quarter when John Wall was called for a charge on Stephen Curry that Wall thought was a flop. Wall had words for Curry and Bradley Beal jawed back and forth with Draymond Green.
In the second quarter, it all boiled over in a brawl that resulted in Beal and Green getting ejected. The two stars locked horns in the final minute of the first half and mayhem ensued.
Watch the whole sequence right here:
Both players were ejected and it wouldn't be surprising if more punishment followed. The NBA prohibits players from leaving the bench and this fight ended with members of both teams in a scrum under the basket.
Beal is not one to start fights, but clearly he was pushed over the edge. Green, meanwhile, is often in disputes with other players.
Remember, the last time these two teams faced off at Oracle Arena there was chaos. Brandon Jennings shoved JaVale McGee to the floor when McGee took a three-pointer late in a blowout.
These two teams appear to be developing a bi-coastal rivalry and we're here for it.
