NBA 2K18 Leaked NBA alternate 'City Edition' Jerseys
Leaked NBA alternate "City Edition' Jerseys
The NBA is adding a brand new set of uniform to the league-wide rotation in 2018.
The "City Edition" jerseys were announced before the season and a NBA 2K18 leak just revealed a batch of the new uniforms before the league could officially unveil them.
We begin with the Atlanta Hawks. You probably hate it, and you should. It's ugly. But it's a great type of ugly.
Straight out of a mid-80's low budget sci-fi casting closet, this jersey shouldn't see the light of day.
But that's part of the fun. It's so bad that it's actually kinda good.
The Pacers' leaked uniform is not bad, but not all that great.
It's got some old school to it.
Los Angeles Lakers
A black Lakers jersey with vitange block shadowing?
Yes please. We will take 1000 of these. This uniform should be used in heavy rotation.
The Minnesota Timberwolves' leaked NBA 2K18 jersey is lacking any color.
But we love it. It's very simple, yet strong in contrast.
We'd buy this jersey.
New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans' leaked uniform would do Pete Maravich proud.
This looks exactly like what we would design if we had to make a 1960's throwback uniform for New Orleans.
This might be the best of the bunch.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Oklahoma City has a tough set of colors to work with and an even tougher logo to use.
This jersey is not good.
Not good at all.
Some will hate it, and others will love it.
The Orlando Magic leaked alternate uniform seems a bit much, but you really cannot go wrong with their logo and color scheme.
The Philadelphia 76ers' leaked uniform is so crisp.
It's arguably the best uniform of the batch. It's similar to their current uniform, but still different, still great.
No this isn't the Detroit Pistons' late-90's logo. This is a cross between the new logo and old uniform colors.
We love it.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antionio Spurs' leaked alternate jersey looks like a Military Appreciation Day uniform.
It's fine, but there is nothing special about it.
But perhaps the camoflauge is an homage to the large number of servicemen and women who live in and around the San Antonio area.
This can't be a real uniform, right? The jerseys have been cionfirmed as being real, which makes us scratch our heads, because we can't understand why Utah would be orange-on-orange.
The Jazz have had a lot of different color schemes, but we don't remember any of them including orange.
Orange isn't a state color, isn't a color predominantly featured in any major teams or universities.
Our only thought is that the jersey is supposed to be a representation of the Utah landscape. Utah's earth is very red and very orange.
Still. We don't really get it.
And finally, the Washington Wizards leaked alternate jersey.
It's a fine alternate. It's not the best of the bunch, but it's exquisitely simple.
The white numbers on a white jersey is very fresh.
