LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) -Yohan Blake is set to run the 100 meters at the Diamond League meeting where he clocked a career-best 9.69 seconds last season.
Organizers of the Athletissima meeting say Blake is entered in the July 4 race alongside American sprinters Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin, and Jamaican teammate Asafa Powell.
Blake tied Gay as second-fastest man in history, behind Usain Bolt, when he beat the American at Lausanne last August.
Organizers say Blake, who has been sidelined by a right hamstring injury since April, "wants to come only if he will be in the fittest condition."
Bolt, who holds the 100 world record at 9.58, typically runs the 200 at Lausanne but is not yet confirmed as a starter. He won last year in 19.58.
