  • BAL Quarterback #8
For now, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. A missed practice is never good, but if a player is to miss practice, we prefer it to be for an illness they’ll likely be able to kick by the weekend. All we can do is wait for better news for Jackson, who will, in all likelihood, be good to go for Week 14 against the Rams.
  • NO Wide Receiver #22
After going down in Week 12 against the Falcons, it was announced that Shaheed would miss at least a week. Having failed to suit up for either of the Saints’ first two practices this week, it looks like the Saints’ speed threat could be at risk of missing a second consecutive game. With Michael Thomas still on injured reserve, the Saints could once again be thin at receiver if Shaheed is unable to go.
  • NO Quarterback #7
Hill’s at risk of missing Sunday’s game against the Panthers if he’s not able to get on the field in a limited capacity on Friday. The Saints’ do-it-all player has been a weapon at the tight end position for fantasy managers who can utilize him in said spot. If he’s unable to go, we could be looking at more rushing work for Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams.
  • GB Running Back #33
Thursday marks Jones’ first practice in nearly three weeks after he suffered a sprained MCL in Week 11. A limited practice to start the week should put him in line to play on Monday night against the Giants, but his status remains wait-and-see until we see how Friday and Saturday shape up. With the Packers playing on Monday, fantasy managers will want to have a backup plan in place in case the team opts to take his game-day status up until kickoff.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
We’ll likely know more about Watson’s injury soon, but for now, this is what we’re left to work with. A hamstring injury sidelined Watson for multiple weeks early in the season, and things didn’t look great as he limped to the sideline in Week 13’s win over the Chiefs. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Watson, who missed Thursday’s practice, miss at least one week, although we can’t rule out this being a multi-week absence. We’ll see if he’s able to get on the field Friday, but early indications suggest he’s trending down for Week 14.
  • KC Running Back #10
Pacheco has missed each of the Chiefs’ first two practices to open the week and is at risk of missing Sunday’s contest against the Bills. A second missed practice is enough to suggest whatever Pacheco is dealing with isn’t minor, but whether or not it’s enough to sideline him in one of the biggest games of the season is to be determined. If he’s able to get in a limited practice on Friday, he’ll likely carry a questionable tag into the weekend. If he’s unable to go, Pacheco’s absence could push Clyde Edwards-Helaire into an early-down role, with Jerick McKinnon working in on passing downs.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
Two straight missed practices by Hall are putting him on the wrong side of playing in Week 14 against the Texans. As if things weren’t bad enough for the Jets, Hall’s absence would likely point to Dalvin Cook drawing the start. Sitting on a one-year, $7 million deal sign signed earlier this offseason, Cook has taken 59 carries for 197 scoreless yards (3.3 YPC) this season while playing on 23 percent of the snaps. A limited practice by Hall on Friday would give him an outside chance of suiting up, but for now, fantasy managers should prepare as if he won’t play.
  • JAX Quarterback #16
Lawrence was seen sporting an enormous brace that rode the whole way up his leg. He’s reportedly going to push to play despite barely being able to walk after going down in Monday night’s win over the Bengals, but we’ll see what the staff decides is best for their franchise quarterback. If he’s not able to go in Week 14, C.J. Beathard would draw the spot start against the Browns. He’d be off the fantasy radar against one of the best defenses the league has to offer.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
With the Dolphins not playing until Monday, there’s little cause for concern at this time. Hill missed the first practice prior to Week 13’s matchup against the Commanders, only to suit up and torch them for 157 yards and two scores. Hill has been nursing an ankle injury throughout the season, so this is likely nothing more than a rest day for the veteran receiver.
  • MIA Running Back #31
Mostert missed the first practice for last week’s matchup against the Commanders but was on the field for the last two. With the Dolphins not playing until Monday, it’s possible the Dolphins are keeping Mostert sidelined for the first practice of the week only to ramp him up on Friday and Saturday. It’s too early to sound the alarms on this absence.
