  • PHI Cornerback #21
The Eagles add to their secondary with Roby. The veteran 31-year-old last played for the Saints before being cut in August. Roby now finds himself with a solid Eagles defense that can use his help.
  • BUF Linebacker #40
Miller expressed his desire to play on his podcast, “The Von Cast”. He said, “If I was a betting man, I’d say you’ll see Von Miller in London.” Miller has been out since last season with a torn ACL and is expected to return to practice this week. The Bills defensive line would get a boost from the veteran’s return, but Miller still has a ways to go before being cleared to play Week 5 in London against the Jaguars.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
Carroll was asked if Geno was OK during his weekly radio show and said, “I think so.” While it’s not a heartening endorsement of health, Carroll later said, "“He kind of twisted his knee a little bit, yeah. It really was knee and ankle at first, but I think it just came down to taping up the ankle and then his knee was a little bit — he might be sore [Tuesday.] He’ll need a break.” It sounds like Geno may sit out a few practices, but should be fine long-term given that the Seahawks have a bye this week.
  • PIT Quarterback #8
In other words, embattled offensive coordinator Matt Canada will continue calling plays for the NFL’s worst offense. Tomlin has offered some mild critiques of the Steelers offense — 31st in EPA per play this year — but has stopped short of scaling back Canada’s role. It’s hard to say if the Steelers offense will get worse if Kenny Pickett (knee) misses time. Tomlin said Pickett would practice Wednesday, though he seems iffy for Week 5 against Baltimore.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Fowler described Evans’ hamstring injury as “mild,” which “bodes well for his return” after the Bucs’ Week 5 bye. Evans left Tampa’s Week 4 game against the Saints with the injury and did not return. Evans drafters can be cautiously optimistic they’ll have him back for Week 6 against the Lions. Evans is ninth in receiving yards (337) this season.
  • IND Running Back #28
Colts head coach Shane Steichen said Monday that the team is “super excited” to get Taylor (ankle, contract) back from the PUP list this week. We don’t know if Taylor — who wants a long-term contract extension — shares that excitement, and will suit up in Week 5 against the Titans. Taylor demanded a trade in September and the team granted him permission to talk to other teams about a trade. There were no takers. Taylor, expected to return to practice Wednesday, might have no choice but to return to the Colts. Fantasy managers should hold lead back Zack Moss for now.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #11
The low yardage tells the full story here, with Smith-Njigba primarily used behind the line of scrimmage against the Giants. He continues to play a relatively low snap rate for an offense that prefers to operate primarily from 12-personnel, something that is unlikely to change in neutral-to-positive game script moving forward. That makes Smith-Njigba a shaky fantasy bet for as long as both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett remain healthy.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
Metcalf and the rest of the pass-catchers weren’t asked to do much in this one considering their defense held the Giants to just three points on the backs of 10 sacks and three turnovers. He did save his fantasy outing with a first quarter touchdown as he shook loose in the back of the end zone. The Seahawks head to their bye in Week 5 before a matchup with the Bengals in Week 6 in Cincinnati.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #16
The team attempted only 26 passes on a night their defense stepped up, generating three turnovers and combining for 10 total sacks. Lockett remains an integral piece to a pass offense that is likely to have peaks and valleys throughout the season, largely dependent on game flow. The Seahawks head to their early bye in Week 5 before facing the reeling Bengals in Week 6.
  • SEA Tight End #87
Fant took a quick out from backup quarterback Drew Lock for 51 yards to the one-yard line with under two minutes to play in the first half, padding his counting stats on a night the Seahawks combined for only 26 pass attempts. The positive game script and a defense that generated three turnovers and sacked Daniel Jones 10 times simply reduced the necessary volume for all pass-catchers. Fant and the Seahawks head to their early bye in Week 5 before traveling to Cincinnati to face the Bengals in Week 6.
