  • PHI Tight End #88
This is big news for Goedert, who missed the first two practices to open the week and hasn’t played since suffering a broken arm in Week 9 against the Cowboys. Goedert’s injury came just before the Eagles’ bye, as he’s missed only two games thus far. He underwent surgery shortly after his injury but appears to have a chance to suit up on Sunday against the 49ers. We’ll see what kind of game-day status he carries heading into the weekend, but Philly’s TE1 appears to be set for a return sooner rather than later.
  • ARI Tight End #85
McBride was listed as limited on Thursday despite early reports of him not practicing. A second-straight practice on Friday should be enough to earn him a questionable tag and put him on track to play in Week 13 against the Steelers. If he’s active, McBride will be a must-start for those who have him. He’s finished as a top-12 fantasy tight end in four of his last seven games and has finished twice as a top-two tight end.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #2
Brown’s status heading into Week 13 is a unique one. The veteran receiver hasn’t logged a practice all week, but head coach Jonathan Gannon said on Friday that brown was “trending toward playing” when asked about Brown’s availability. Brown played through same same heel injury in last week’s loss to the Rams, so it’s possible his absence this week is out of precaution to ensure he’s ready for Sunday. He’ll likely draw a questionable tag heading into the weekend, making his status one to watch when the team announces their Week 13 inactives.
  • GB Running Back #33
Jones didn’t take the practice field on Friday and will likely miss Week 13’s contest against the Chiefs. It would be the consecutive missed game for Jones and his fifth missed game this season. Injuries have completely derailed his season, as he’s managed just 66 rushes for 245 yards and two touchdowns in seven games, adding 19 receptions for 169 additional yards. Assuming Jones is out, AJ Dillon would draw the start, with Patrick Taylor spelling him on occasional downs. Dillon would be a fringe RB2/RB3 against the Chiefs.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Godwin seems to have aggravated a lingering neck injury during practice this week, making him iffy to face Carolina. Godwin hasn’t eclipsed 60 receiving yards in any of his past five games and is no more than a WR3 in PPR formats if he plays. Trey Palmer would likely see more routes and targets if Godwin is sidelined.
  • MIA Running Back #28
Achane returned from injured reserve in Week 11 but re-injured his knee on his second touch of the game. The Dolphins then held him out of their Week 12 outing. McDaniel and the Dolphins have taken a cautious approach with Achane’s second return to action, and we expect that to carry into their game plan for his usage on Sunday. Raheem Mostert will likely see more carries than the rookie, meaning Achane will rank as a volatile RB2 based on his absurd efficiency.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #2
It’s a rosy outlook for a player who hasn’t practiced this week with a heel issue. Michael Wilson (shoulder) was already declared out against the Steelers and Trey McBride is dealing with a groin injury. It’s a mess for Arizona. Brown would be a boom-bust WR3 option if he can suit up Sunday.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
That, per Cimini, could change in the coming weeks as Rodgers — who tore his Achilles tendon in September — ramps up his practice participation. The Jets opened Rodgers’ 21-day practice window on Wednesday, a move that could put Rodgers back under center by Week 15 or Week 16 if the Jets are in the postseason hunt. Rodgers this week acknowledged that he could re-injure his Achilles with a rushed return to game action. “My thing is, what’s the worst that can happen? Something unfortunate again and then you just slow the rehab down,” he said. With the Jets at 4-7, there’s almost no chance we see Rodgers on the field before the start of next season.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
Facing both one of his toughest team and individual assignments in the Cowboys and DROY-contending CB DaRon Bland, Metcalf somehow had by far his best game of the year, posting a new season high for yards while doubling his touchdown total. The scoring started with his 73-yard catch-and-run in the first quarter after he got a step on Bland and was off to the races at truly eye-popping speed. He then beat Bland off the line at the goal line for a one-yard score in the closing seconds of the second quarter. Bland was also the closest defender when play-action freed Metcalf in the end zone for a three-yard TD in the fourth. Awesome stuff. Also likely a one-off as the Seahawks prepare for a rematch of their Thanksgiving loss to the 49ers in Week 14.
  • DAL Quarterback #4
Dealing with a surprisingly feisty Seahawks offense, Prescott always had the perfect counterpunch, playing a nearly flawless game as he traded scores with Geno Smith before eventually emerging triumphant. Prescott’s timing was precise and his touch feathery. He tossed zero picks for the eighth time in 12 starts, and continued to relentlessly work his connection with CeeDee Lamb, finding his No. 1 wideout for 12/116/1. He also hit Brandin Cooks and Jake Ferguson for scores. Playing like both a real life and fantasy MVP for the better part of two months, Prescott has a Week 14 fantasy smash spot in the Eagles’ leaky pass defense.
