  • CLE Wide Receiver #2
Cooper has yet to practice this week and is trending toward missing Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. Only four days removed from his concussion, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Cooper miss Week 14, as most players have failed to get on the field a week after first suffering a concussion. If Cooper is unable to go, Elijah Moore and David Njoku would see a slight boost in their fantasy outlooks.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #7
Jones continues to practice on a limited basis, which will likely continue through the remainder of the season. After being sidelined for five weeks with a knee injury earlier this season, the Jaguars would be wise to play it safe with Jones, especially with Christian Kirk (groin) likely sidelined for the next several weeks, if not the remainder of the season.
  • JAX Quarterback #3
Beathard and Trevor Lawrence (ankle) were both limited in Thursday’s practice. Beathard has practiced in a limited capacity in both practices to open the week and is in line to start for Week 14 against the Browns unless Lawrence pulls off the unexpected. Lawrence, who was a DNP on Wednesday, managed to suit up on Thursday but was sporting a large brace. It’d be surprising to see him suit up this week, but reports are he’ll be pushing to play. We’ll see how things look after the Jaguars designate game statuses to the two signal-callers on Friday.
  • IND Running Back #28
When asked about whether or not Taylor would play in Week 14 against the Bengals, head coach Shane Steichen said, “We’ll see.” Despite Steichen’s best efforts to play things close to the vest, two straight DNPs from Taylor are enough to suggest we won’t see him this weekend. Initial reports on Taylor’s injury suggested he’d miss 2-4 weeks. He’s only been sidelined for one game since his surgery, so we’d expect him to miss at least one more game, barring any surprises.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
The good news is Watson said he doesn’t think his current hamstring injury is as bad as the one the sidelined him for three games earlier this season. The bad news is he’s not sure if he’ll be ready to play in Monday night’s game against the Giants. Watson was a DNP on Thursday but still has a chance to suit up for Friday or Saturday’s practice. It seems unlikely he’ll play in Week 14, but we’ll let the rest of the week unfold and see what kind of status he carries heading into the weekend.
  • NO Quarterback #4
Carr still needs to clear concussion protocol if he hopes to suit up for Week 14 against the Panthers, but he has been limited in each of the team’s first two practices to open the week. If Carr is unable to go, it will be Jameis Winston drawing the start against a Panthers defense that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
For now, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. A missed practice is never good, but if a player is to miss practice, we prefer it to be for an illness they’ll likely be able to kick by the weekend. All we can do is wait for better news for Jackson, who will, in all likelihood, be good to go for Week 14 against the Rams.
  • NO Wide Receiver #22
After going down in Week 12 against the Falcons, it was announced that Shaheed would miss at least a week. Having failed to suit up for either of the Saints’ first two practices this week, it looks like the Saints’ speed threat could be at risk of missing a second consecutive game. With Michael Thomas still on injured reserve, the Saints could once again be thin at receiver if Shaheed is unable to go.
  • NO Quarterback #7
Hill’s at risk of missing Sunday’s game against the Panthers if he’s not able to get on the field in a limited capacity on Friday. The Saints’ do-it-all player has been a weapon at the tight end position for fantasy managers who can utilize him in said spot. If he’s unable to go, we could be looking at more rushing work for Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams.
