  • CLE Quarterback #15
Flacco was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday. With P.J. Walker waived over the weekend, Flacco will be signed to the team’s active roster soon. Flacco drew the start in Week 13 and threw for 254 yards, two scores, and an interception. While that stat line wouldn’t normally be much to write home about, it was one of the best outings for a Cleveland quarterback this season. Flacco isn’t setting the league ablaze at 38 years old, but he does give the Browns’ offense a spark it hasn’t had outside of two good performances from the now-injured Deshaun Watson. Flacco will keep Amari Cooper in the WR2 ranks for Week 14 while giving Elijah Moore WR3 aspirations versus a middling Jacksonville defense.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
Hall was listed as questionable after logging a limited practice on Friday. It was his only practice of the week. He played through the ankle issue in Week 13 but gave up nine carries to Dalvin Cook, who was also more efficient per attempt than Breece. Hall still pulled in six receptions, saving an otherwise quiet fantasy day in PPR leagues. He will need to do so again this week because Cook will likely maintain his role between the tackles, limiting Hall’s touch-based upside. He ranks as an RB2 for Week 14.
  • NO Quarterback #7
Perhaps Hill would push it against a weaker foe, but there is zero reason to push the envelope vs. Carolina. It’s a major blow for fantasy managers in the final week of the roto regular season. Hill’s absence could mean increased work for Jamaal Williams in the running game, and perhaps Juwan Johnson in the passing attack.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
It’s not great news for DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, etc. fantasy managers since SEA/SF kicks off at 4:05PM ET. Schefter reports Smith is dealing with what is normally a “two-week injury.” Smith has displayed immense toughness since becoming Seahawks starter, but this feels like a disaster waiting to happen one way or another. Either the skidding ‘Hawks have to trot out Drew Lock against the 49ers or ... Smith can barely move against the 49ers. It’s bad news for all of Seattle’s skill players.
  • JAX Quarterback #16
Lawrence supposedly has to ace his pre-game workout, but the Jags have been telegraphing this for days. Especially with Christian Kirk on the shelf, expect a hand-off-athon against the Browns’ elite defense, but Jacksonville understandably believes even a limited Lawrence gives them a far better chance to win than C.J. Beathard. Fantasy managers shouldn’t follow suit, and should only get Lawrence in their lineups for the final week of the regular season if they have no viable alternatives.
  • BUF Tight End #88
That was always the likeliest outcome after the veteran tight end logged a full week of practice ahead of the team’s Week 14 showdown with the Chiefs. Knox will make his return to the active roster following a string of five missed games in the middle of the season. The Bills ran the highest rates of 12-personnel prior to his injury but it remains to be seen whether they will revert to those offensive tendencies following the departure of Ken Dorsey two weeks ago.
  • MIN Offensive Coordinator
Phillips immediately notified the team, which then passed word to the league. After internal review, the decision was made to allow Phillips to travel with the team to Las Vegas for the team’s game against the Raiders. More word will come from the league regarding the developing situation.
  • GB Running Back #33
Jones has missed the previous two games with a knee injury, making it five total missed games for the veteran running back this season with various ailments. AJ Dillon has taken over primary duties in his absence but continues to struggle through poor efficiency. Now that the team has played their way into playoff contention, Jones’ status becomes a bit more pressing. Either way, expect more word on Jones when the team announces their Week 14 inactives 90-minutes prior to Monday Night Football.
  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Here we go again with Watson. Watson missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury and was finally starting to come into his own for the Packers this year. It is unclear how long his most recent soft tissue injury will keep him out of the lineup, which is particularly concerning for the organization now that they have played themselves into playoff contention during the second half of the season. The result of the team’s Week 14 game against the Giants is likely to play a role in how cautious they can be with their second-year wide receiver.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #2
Cooper managed only one limited session this week but apparently did enough to both clear concussion protocol and put his chest injury behind him, reportedly now on track to suit up against the Jaguars in Week 14. His quarterback situation remains a mystery with the team yet to announce whether rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson or veteran Joe Flacco will be under center.
