  • LAC Wide Receiver #13
There seems to be no indication that the injury is anything serious, and Allen often gets Wednesday practices off for “vet rest.” However, the team listed him as a DNP with a quad injury on the official report, so it’s at least something to monitor as the week goes on.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #10
Despite Jeudy not being on the field on Wednesday, head coach Sean Payton says he believes Jeudy will be fine and able to practice tomorrow. The Broncos should expect to have their number two receiver on Sunday against the Texans.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #1
The rookie injured his ribs in the Chargers’ Week 12 loss to the Ravens but, after the game, head coach Brandon Staley mentioned that the decision for Johnston to not re-enter was his, not the medical staffs. As a result, even if Johnston is back to full practice, there’s no guarantee that he returns the same snap share he saw before Week 12. The first-round pick out of TCU has disappointed this season and should be off the radar in redraft leagues.
  • PIT Quarterback #8
Just two days after suggesting the Pickett could be limited in practice with an ankle injury, the Steelers listed their quarterback as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice. He should have little limitations in his performance this weekend against the Cardinals.
  • CLE Quarterback #15
When speaking to the media on Wednesday, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski made it clear that Joe Flacco was the back-up to Dorian Thompson-Robinson. With Thompson-Robinson entering concussion protocol after taking a big hit against the Broncos on Sunday, that would mean that Flacco would be in line to start if Thomson-Robinson is unable to play. Flacco threw for 1,051 five five touchdowns and three starts over four starts with the Jets last season, but is incredibly immobile, which could be good news for Aaron Donald and the Rams defense on Sunday.
  • CLE Defensive End #95
Earlier in the week Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that everything check out okay with Garrett’s shoulder but that he was managing soreness. As a result, it seems likely that the team will monitor his practice reps this week to ensure he can get as close to 100 percent as possible on Sunday. Given Garrett’s experience and skill set, he likely doesn’t need to do too much practicing this week to be ready for this weekend’s game against the Rams. When asked directly about whether he liked Garrett’s chances of playing, Stefanski said, “I do.”
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
While Dell was able to play the full game on Sunday, he did get his calf checked out after the game, so there is some indication he’s battling a legitimate injury. However, he spent his off day on Tuesday taking 10 kids from the local community on a shopping spree for the holidays, which would seem to indicate that the team isn’t overly concerned about him being mobile on his injured calf. We’ll await more information from the team, but it would seem like Wednesday’s absence is precautionary.
  • NE Wide Receiver #81
The rookie suffered a head injury on a punt return in Week 12 but told the media after the game it was just a neck injury and not a concussion. Still, he was not at practice on Wednesday and sources claim he has entered concussion protocol, which could simply be to monitor him for latent symptoms since he suffered another concussion earlier in the season. He still has a couple of days to get back onto the practice field, but if he were to miss, the Patriots would be left with Juju Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton to lead the receiving corps.
  • NE Quarterback #4
Zappe replaced Mac Jones in the second half of the Patriots’ Week 12 loss to the Giants, completing 9-of-14 passes for 54 yards and an interception. Him being first through passing drills on Wednesday is a good sign that he may be in line to start in Week 13 against the Chargers. However, even more interestingly, it was Malik Cunningham who worked in behind Zappe and not Mac Jones, suggesting that we might not be far off from Cunningham getting a chance at NFL game action.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll on Tuesday seemed uncharacteristically pessimistic about Walker’s chances of suiting up Thursday night against Dallas. Fantasy managers can expect rookie RB Zach Charbonnet to once again work as Seattle’s starter. He had 18 touches — including four receptions — last week against the 49ers. Charbonnet is a locked-in RB2 if Walker remains sidelined.
