  • GB Wide Receiver #9
Watson has been out with a hamstring injury he suffered prior to Week 1. In his absence, Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs have been the Packers’ leading receivers. Watson’s return will add a more vertical aspect to the offense. He will be a back-end WR2 for his expected season debut in Thursday’s Week 4 matchup against the Lions.
  • ARI Running Back #6
Conner has been the Cardinals’ workhorse back this season, handling 58 touches for the team in three games. A limited practice leaves a low cause for concern, but Conner’s situation is one to monitor as the 28-year-old’s physical playstyle and age may be catching up to him. If he can’t go in Week 4 against the 49ers, Keaontay Ingram is next up with flex upside. Otherwise, Conner can be played as an RB2.
  • IND Quarterback #5
Richardson has been in the league’s concussion protocol since Week 2 against the Texans. The Colts’ injury report lists the rookie as a full participant, bringing him a step closer to returning to action. If fully cleared, Richardson can be started in fantasy lineups for Week 4 against the Rams. If he remains out, Gardner Minshew will be the starter with borderline-QB2 fantasy upside.
  • FA Wide Receiver #10
Smith was released by the Saints earlier this week after being placed on injured reserve with a groin injury. Unsurprisingly, he is visiting a Broncos team coached by Sean Payton, who Smith played for from 2018-2021. If Denver signs him, Smith will join a lackluster team that needs an offensive boost, though his injury will keep him low on the fantasy radar.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #11
Dealing with an ankle injury, Robinson missed the first practice of the week for the Steelers. The 30-year-old has 11 catches in three games for the struggling Pittsburgh offense. Robinson has taken on a larger role in Diontae Johnson’s absence, but it has not led to any fantasy value. Should Robinson miss Week 4 against the Texans, Calvin Austin could see a bump in targets, though he is a mere flex play in deep leagues.
  • LV Quarterback #10
Garoppolo was put in concussion protocol after Sunday’s game against the Steelers. He is still moving through the protocol, causing him to miss practice and putting his status for Week 4 in doubt. If Garoppolo cannot go, it will be either veteran Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O’Connell at QB against the Chargers.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Mahomes had his ankle rolled on in the Chiefs’ Week 3 beatdown of the Bears. He limped off the field after suffering the injury in the second quarter but played on the bum ankle after halftime until Andy Reid pulled all of his starters. Mahomes has had a number of close calls with ankle injuries over the years, but he once again escaped without a major issue. He is locked in as a top-five fantasy quarterback for Week 4 against the Jets.
  • LAC Running Back #30
It’s Ekeler’s first appearance at practice since suffering what is likely a high-ankle sprain in Week 1. The Chargers have a bye week in Week 5, so resting Ekeler for one more game to give him an extended recovery time is still on the table. However, with Joshua Kelley flopping as the starter and Mike Williams out, an extra spark on offense couldn’t hurt. If Ekeler is able to play in Week 4, he will reclaim his spot among the rest of the RB1s in a matchup with the Raiders.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10
McVay said Kupp is making progress and ramping up his workload, so things are clearly moving in the right direction for the star receiver. Week 5 will be the first game he is eligible to play in after spending the minimum of four weeks on injured reserve. The Rams’ offense has gotten by with Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell as its top options, but the return of Kupp will be a big boost for Matthew Stafford and the passing attack.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #16
Burks had a rough game on Sunday, catching just 1-of-6 targets, including a bad drop. He now seems to have picked up a knee injury as well. The second-year wide receiver is currently operating as a distant number two behind DeAndre Hopkins, but the Titans would obviously love to have him on the field when they take on the Bengals in Week 4.
