  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
Dell was spotted during the warm-up portion of practice but later joined the team on the field. The rookie receiver is dealing with a calf injury, but head coach DeMeco Ryans said earlier in the week that he was optimistic that Dell would play in Week 13 against the Broncos. We’ll see what Friday holds, but for now, it looks like we can expect Dell to be in our lineups against the hot-running Broncos.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
This would make two straight missed practices for Dell, who is working through a calf injury he suffered at some point in Week 12’s loss to the Jaguars. Dell still managed five receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown on the day but is at risk of missing Week 13 if he can’t get on the field in some capacity on Friday. We’ll see if anything changes before the weekend, but this is something to monitor.
  • MIA Running Back #31
Mostert missed Wednesday’s practice for what was likely a maintenance day for the veteran running back. While he is dealing with a handful of minor injuries, the 31-year-old speedster hasn’t been slowed come game day, racking up 85 or more rushing yards in each of his last three games while finding the end zone on three separate occasions. The return of De’Von Achane in Week 13 could limit Mostert’s fantasy upside against the Commanders, but he’d still project as a fringe RB1 in a plus matchup.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Hill’s DNP on Wednesday is proving to be a non-issue. The veteran receiver has had his practice reps scaled back in recent weeks, and did suffer a minor ankle injury in Week 12 against the Jets. A return to practice on Thursday suggests he’ll be good to go for Week 13’s contest against the Commanders. As usual, Hill will be on the high-end WR1 radar. Especially this weekend, when he goes up against one of the worst secondaries in football.
  • FA Tight End #86
Ertz was placed on injured reserve with a quad injury after the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Seahawks. The veteran tight end was eligible to return after Week 11, but little on his status has been mentioned since he landed on IR. Ertz caught 27 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown this season, averaging a humble 6.9 yards per reception — nearly a two-yard drop-off from last year’s 8.6 YPR. If he clears waivers, Ertz will be free to sign with any team. He doesn’t offer much as an explosive pass-catcher at this stage in his career, but Ertz could serve as a veteran presence on a contender and help in short-yardage situations.
  • BUF Linebacker #40
According to Lopez’s article, the warrant is for the charge of assaulting a pregnant person, which is a third-degree felony. Miller, who is originally from the Dallas area, was also under investigation for domestic violence in 2021in Colorado but was ultimately not charged in the case. We don’t know much about the case or what Miller’s future holds regarding his future with the Bills, but we will provide any updates as they come in. Miller and the Bills are on bye and won’t play again until Week 14 against the Chiefs.
  • JAX Running Back #1
Pederson also added that Etienne will be present at practice on Thursday. The Jaguars face the Bengals on Monday night, giving Etienne some extra time to heal up before the Week 13 contest. Etienne was briefly knocked from last week’s win over the Texans but returned to finish with 86 total yards on 24 touches. He’ll likely be limited throughout the week, but his Week 13 status doesn’t seem to be in question.
  • NE Quarterback #4
Zappe was getting first-team reps at practice on Wednesday after replacing Mac Jones in the Patriots’ Week 12 loss against the Giants. He was in for the second half of the game, with an unappetizing 54 yards and an interception on 9-of-14 passing. Still, the Patriots believe he will be an upgrade over Jones and intend to start Zappe in Week 13 against the Chargers. Malik Cunningham was getting second-team reps, indicating he may be Zappe’s backup with Jones falling to third on the depth chart.
  • DET Offensive Coordinator
Frank Reich was recently fired as head coach of the Panthers, who are 1-10 after drafting QB Bryce Young first overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson received head coaching interest from the Panthers last off-season, but had declined an interview and chose to stay in Detroit. Reich, who was hired by the Panthers instead, is now out after 11 games and the 37-year-old Johnson is expected to receive interest for the Panthers’ head coaching vacancy again.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10
Kupp suffered an ankle injury in Week 11 and played through it in Week 12 despite starting the week with a DNP in practice. This week, Kupp starts off with a full practice, putting him on track to play in Week 13. He seems to be managing his ankle fine and should be a fantasy start against the Browns on Sunday.
