  • LAC Wide Receiver #81
The worst was confirmed for Williams and the Chargers on Monday, as the star receiver will now be sidelined for the remainder of 2023 with his injury. Williams was humming to the tune of seven receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown before exiting Sunday’s game, and finishes the year with a line of 19-249-1. Williams was looking good in a revamped Chargers offense through three games, but will now have to wait until 2024 to show what he can offer in a full season in Kellen Moore’s offense. Quentin Johnston and Josh Palmer are both expected to see expanded roles with Williams now done for the season.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Mahomes’ ankled was rolled up on by a defender late in the second quarter of the Chiefs’ win over the Bears, but he returned to play a few more downs before Andy Reid called off the wolves in the third quarter. The injury didn’t look good on video, but Mahomes isn’t one to take plays off if he thinks he can. We’ll see if he pops up on Wednesday’s injury report, but it sounds like he’ll be fine for Week 4 against the Jets.
  • KC Running Back #10
The raw snap numbers suggest some kind of a backfield split, but Pacheco was in on 51.1 percent of the snaps Mahomes played on — a season-high for the Chiefs’ RB1. If we look at it from this angle, Pacheco has seen an increased snap share in each of his last three games, and has totaled 202 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown through three games. Pacheco has handled 42.7 percent of the Chiefs’ rush attempts, but Clyde Edwards-Helaire saw 14 carries in the team’s Week 3 smashing of the Bears. Pacheco will have strong RB2 upside in Week 4 against the Jets.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Warren’s 45.2 percent snap share in Sunday’s win marked his highest snap share of the season, as the former UDFA continues to slowly work into Najee Harris’ workload. As runners, both Warren and Harris have struggled through the first three weeks, but Warren has proven to be the better fantasy asset thanks to his receiving upside. In PPR leagues, Warren has outscored Harris in every game this season and has 12 receptions for 101 yards on the season. On a week-to-week basis, both backs are hard to trust for fantasy purposes, but Warren isn’t going away and will continue to be a thorn for those who rostered Harris.
  • SEA Running Back #26
In addition to snaps, Charbonnet also saw a season-high 11 opportunities in the win. He was effective with them, totaling 45 yards on those touches, but he still worked well behind Kenneth Walker. Interestingly, Charbonnet also ran 16 routes to Walker’s 10, which could be something to monitor in the coming weeks. The Seahawks appear to be easing Charbonnet into action, which could be due to an injury that slowed him in training camp. However, his snaps and opportunities have steadily increased each week, making him a worthwhile stash for any managers in leagues where he may be available.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
Remember to temper expectations here, folks. Hall and the Jets were abysmal in Week 3 — a theme that has become all too familiar with Zach Wilson under center. Despite operating as the clear lead back, Hall managed only 27 yards from scrimmage on 13 touches and now has 183 total yards on the season. Although, his 83-yard run in Week 1 against the Bills carries most of that production. While the snap totals are encouraging, Hall is best left on the bench in Week 4 against the Jets in, you guessed it, primetime.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #81
Williams is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury, but things didn’t look good for the veteran receiver on Sunday. Williams struggled to put weight on his leg after going down and was eventually carted off to the locker room. Rookie receiver Quentin Johnston stepped in two passes for 25 yards and could be in line for a more significant role if Williams is out.
  • DEN Wide Receiver
Mims will once again pop in the fantasy box score, but credit to Sean Payton for staying true to his word. Mims played on 16 snaps in Week 2 against the Commanders but caught 2-of-2 targets for 113 yards and a touchdown. Later in the week, Payton said he wouldn’t commit to giving Mims more snaps, and in a game his team lost 70-20, Payton ran his rookie receiver out for just 15 snaps on the day. Mims did score on a 99-yard kick return touchdown to bolster his fantasy day, but he’ll be hard to trust in fantasy until Payton realizes he’s sleeping on the team’s best receiver.
  • LV Quarterback #10
Garoppolo played the entirety of Sunday’s loss, but was not available to speak to reporters due to the team evaluating him. Garoppolo threw for 324-2-3 in the Raiders’ loss, and also briefly left the game for what appeared to be an ankle injury in the first half. We’ll know more on Garoppolo’s status soon, but if he’s unable to go in Week 4 against the Chargers, backup quarterback Brian Hoyer could be in line for the start.
  • LV Wide Receiver #13
The two targets take Renfrow’s season total to just three looks through three games, leaving Renfrow with little fantasy value moving forward. The Raiders’ pass offense simply runs almost entirely through Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, with only the running backs seeing more than just two targets in Week 3. It appears to be full on abandon ship mode for Renfrow and the remaining secondary options in this Raiders offense.
