2019 NFL Draft: Nick Bosa, Kyler Murray co-favorites for No. 1 pick

One is an undersized quarterback, who actually impressed with his measurements. The other is a 6-foot-4, 266-pound defensive end who proved he's back to health.

And either player could be the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

FanDuel Sportsbook in New Jersey started their prop bets for the draft on Sunday and opened with Bosa, the Ohio State pass-rusher, as the favorite for the top pick at even odds. But by Monday afternoon, another name was right there with him.

Murray dominated the NFL Scouting Combine without competing in any drills. After measuring in at over 5-10 and 207 pounds, the former Heisman Trophy winner won gold in the Underwear Olympics.

By Sunday night, word spread that it's reportedly a "done deal" the Cardinals will select the QB with the top pick in the draft.

That prompted the sportsbook to make both prospects co-favorites at +110.

One personnel chief told NBC Sports Bay Area that Murray's height made him the odds-on-favorite as coach Kliff Kingsbury's choice for the Cardinals at No. 1. That would then send Bosa to the 49ers at No. 2 overall.

“I think I’d fit in very well,” Bosa said on the possibility of being picked by the 49ers. “They got really good interior guys right now. They just need help on the edge. That’s what they told me."

Bosa's combination of power and bend coming off the edge fits exactly what the 49ers need.

But if he'll be there for GM John Lynch is still a mystery, and likely will remain one for the next seven weeks.
