49ers' Mostert wants to blow off steam watching Super Bowl LV

Raheem Mostert clearly misses being out on the field playing in the Super Bowl.

The 49ers running back, who rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown in last February's Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs, tweeted that he wants to get back in the gym and blow off steam while watching this year's event.

Mostert was limited to just eight games in 2020 due to ankle injuries, rushing for 521 yards and two touchdowns. He was far from the only 49er who dealt with injuries this season, as the team had more missed games among the roster than any other NFL team this season.

The 49ers finished 6-10 in 2020 after last season's dominant run to the Super Bowl, but with better health and continued development from Jimmy Garoppolo in coach Kyle Shanahan's offense, the team should be back among the NFC's top contenders next season.
