49ers-Cardinals injury report: Joe Staley remains sidelined

Share

SANTA CLARA – Left tackle Joe Staley remained out of practice on Thursday, while three other 49ers starting offensive lineman took part in limited work despite injured knees.

Right tackle Mike McGlinchey, center Weston Richburg and right guard Mike Person had a limited workload as the 49ers held their second practice of the week in preparation for facing the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.

Staley did not participate in practice, but his knee condition has improved to the point it looks as if he will have a strong chance of playing in Sunday’s game, too.

Cornerback Richard Sherman returned to limited practice work on Thursday after missing the past 1 ½ games with a calf strain.
