The 49ers' injury report grew even longer Sunday in their 31-13 win over the New York Jets.
Nick Bosa, Solomon Thomas, Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert all left early with leg injuries. That's on top of George Kittle, Richard Sherman, Dee Ford and Deebo Samuel all being unable to play in Week 2.
Bosa likely tore his left ACL, and Thomas might have sustained a torn ACL as well. Garoppolo has a high ankle sprain, and likely won't start in Week 3 against the New York Giants. Mostert reportedly has a mild MCL sprain. But all is not lost for the 49ers, and a long list of key players will soon be back on the field.

ESPN's Bill Barnwell believes the 49ers still could be aggressive before the Nov. 3 NFL trade deadline.
"In the big picture, the 49ers should get Ford back and will likely have to use the 29-year-old in an expanded role," Barnwell wrote Monday morning. "It wouldn't be shocking to see an aggressive front office pursue options near the trade deadline, when someone like Ryan Kerrigan could come available.
"There's also a deep market of veteran free agents at the position."
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are expected to sign free-agent defensive end Ziggy Ansah after weeks of flirting with the idea. Ansah played for 49ers defensive line coach Kris Kocurek when Kocurek held the same position with the Detroit Lions. Ansah made the Pro Bowl under Kocurek in 2015 when he had 14.5 sacks, and he also had 12 sacks in 2017 during Kocurek's last season in Detroit.
Trading for Kerrigan could be an interesting option as well. The 32-year-old outside linebacker/edge rusher already has two sacks through the Washington Football Team's first two games. He has made the Pro Bowl four times and has registered double-digit sacks four times in his 10-year career.
The 49ers certainly have history trading with Washington -- look no further than left tackle Trent Williams -- and could try to do so again. Kerrigan also will be an unrestricted free agent after this season.

The 49ers' next three games are against the Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. Those three teams are a combined 0-6. The schedule then becomes much harder with games against the Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Rams again and Buffalo Bills before then facing Washington.
While the 49ers should be able to weather the storm in the coming weeks, they soon will run into a long list of contenders. They will need help, and general manager John Lynch could be busy before the trade deadline.
