Deebo's IG post suggests he could play for 49ers vs. Rams

The 49ers have extremely little room for error as they head down the backstretch of the season and can use all the help they can get. It's a good thing then that it would appear more help is on the way.

Second-year wide receiver Deebo Samuel hasn't played since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 7, but the hope was that he'd be able to return coming out of San Francisco's Week 11 bye. If Samuel's Instagram is any indication, he's on track to do so (h/t 49ers Webzone).

"Finally back to work," Samuel wrote as the caption on a video of him practicing. That certainly bodes well for his availability for Sunday's critical matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

Samuel was a big part of the 49ers' 24-16 win over the Rams in Week 6, catching six passes for 66 yards and accounting for two touchdowns. His presence would be a big boost for quarterback Nick Mullens, who was on the sidelines backing up Jimmy Garoppolo in Week 6.

In addition to Samuel, there's a decent chance any or all of Richard Sherman, Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman are active for Sunday's game against Los Angeles. The 49ers sure could use them against a tough Rams team coming off an impressive victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on "Monday Night Football."
