With a 14-point lead over the Bengals already in hand, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo found rookie Deebo Samuel in the corner of the end zone for the wide receiver's first career touchdown.

Samuel had three catches in Week 1 against the Buccaneers, and continues to be a focal point of the 49ers' offense. The 2019 second-round draft pick ended the game as San Francisco’s leading receiver, with five catches for 87 yards.

Looks like the offense finally has found some of the balance Shanahan was seeking in his third season at the helm.
