The 49ers expect to remain in the Eastern Time Zone between their Week 2 and 3 games in New Jersey, coach Kyle Shanahan said on Wednesday.

The 49ers plan to stay and practice at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. The Greenbrier has hosted the New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans in previous training camps.

After the 49ers’ season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, the 49ers travel to face the New York Jets in Week 2 on Sept. 30 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The 49ers’ Week 3 game on Sept. 27 will be in the same stadium against the New York Giants.

Last season, the 49ers spent two weeks of practice on the road between games away from Levi’s Stadium.
