The 49ers announced the signing of former Seattle Seahawks inside linebacker Brock Coyle on Friday evening.

Coyle was at the 49ers’ headquarters on Friday to undergo a physical and finalize a one-year contract. The 49ers announced the signings of Coyle, as well as quarterback Matt Barkley and wide receiver Aldrick Robinson.

Barkley and Robinson agreed to terms on Thursday night.

Coyle became an unrestricted free agent this week after the Seahawks declined to give him a tender as a scheduled restricted free agent.

Coyle (6 foot 1, 245 pounds) originally signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2014 from Montana. He spent three seasons with Seattle, appearing in 35 games with five starts. He also appeared in seven postseason games. He had one special-teams tackle in Super Bowl XLIX, in which Seattle lost to the New England Patriots.

Coyle appeared in 12 games last season with three starts and recorded a career-high 15 tackles and the only sack of his career.
