49ers troll Madden 21 on Twitter for giving George Kittle 98 rating

Another day has gone by, and George Kittle still hasn’t been given a 99 rating on Madden 21.

That’s just not right.

Still, the 49ers wanted to make sure to double down on the fact that Kittle was not given the proper rating by trolling the video game.

Oh yeah, the frog and tea emoji pretty much sealed the deal.

Kittle said in an interview on 49ers.com that EA Sports "don’t want me to be great,” which was more of a satirical claim. His 98 rating isn’t something to be disappointed by, but if anyone deserved almost perfection, it was Kittle.

The tight end accumulated 85 receptions for 1,053 yards last season, catching five touchdowns and 79.4 percent of his targets. This earned him Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors, and he helped 49ers make it to Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

Kittle's also a freak athlete earning respect, including from Seattle Seahawks star Bobby Wagner after posting an earlier workout. And kids, don't try this vertical jump at home unless you have a step ladder.

Don’t worry, it’s Kittle. His optimistic, playful personality realizes all the trolling is in good fun. But that doesn’t mean fans can’t be a little upset about it.
