49ers Twitter not happy with Street after costly penalty

Kentavius Street clearly hit Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen well after he threw the ball in the third quarter of Monday night's game, and it ended up costing the 49ers dearly.

After a holding penalty and an incomplete pass gave the Bills a second-and-18, Street knocked Allen down and cost the 49ers 15 yards. Allen seemed to have sold the contact a bit, but nevertheless it drew a 15-yard penalty.

Just two plays later, Buffalo pushed their lead to 24-10 on a 23-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah McKenzie. Understandably, 49ers Twitter wasn't thrilled with the drive being extended on an unnecessary penalty.

It isn't Street's first controversial roughing the passer penalty of the season, as his sack on Drew Brees drew a very questionable penalty flag, especially when Street seemed to do everything he could to avoid putting full weight on the QB.

It's another unfortunate break for Street, but this one ended up hurting the 49ers.
