After getting all the way to the one-yard line, 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens committed an untimely false start penalty, an especially rare penalty for a QB. On the very next play, Mullens threw an interception to Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White.
It was that kind of night for the 49ers, as the Bills ended up winning 34-24 in the 49ers' first "home" game in Arizona.
