The last game of the 49ers season is upon us.
While San Francisco has long been eliminated from the playoffs, their opponents, the Los Angeles Rams, need a win to secure a first-round playoff bye. Although the Rams have already clinched a playoff spot, they’ll likely be playing their starters for most of the game as they seek the No. 2 seed.
The Rams will also be keeping an eye on the Bears-Vikings game. If the Bears lose, the Rams would clinch a bye no matter the result of their game vs. the 49ers.

Rams star running back Todd Gurley is out for the game with a knee injury, so C.J. Anderson will take the bulk of the carries for Los Angeles.
The 49ers have nothing to play for in the standings, but tight end George Kittle is only 101 yards away from breaking Rob Gronkowski’s record for most receiving yards in a season by a tight end. You know 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan will try to get him the record, after Kittle fell five yards shy of setting the single-game mark in Week 14.
