Betty White stars in commercial promoting Packers-Bears NFL kickoff

Is there anything more bada-- than this year's NFL kickoff between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears?

Well, yes: Betty White.

The legendary actress stars in the commercial promoting the Packers-Bears kickoff game, which will mark the start of the NFL's 100th season. Who better to put into words what that means than White, 97, who has seen it all?

In the clip, White responds to "Sunday Night Football" play-by-play man Al Michaels, who will call the game with longtime broadcast partner Cris Collinsworth on Thursday night for the first edition of SNF from Chicago, Ill. White chronicles the history of the Packers and Bears, two of the NFL's most iconic teams, to tee up what should be an epic game at Soldier Field, with Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and Bears linebacker Khalil Mack leading the way.

The 49ers and Raiders do not appear on "Sunday Night Football" this season, at least to start. Starting Week 5, the NFL can "flex" certain games into the primetime slot if the matchup dictates it. So there's still an opportunity -- especially if the Bay Area teams are good -- that the 49ers and Raiders will appear on the primetime NBC broadcast.

You can view the commercial in the player above, and watch the Packers-Bears kickoff game on NBC this Thursday, Sept. 5 at 5:20 p.m. PT.
