SANTA CLARA -– Receiver Anquan Boldin was limited in practice Thursday after experiencing an issue with his hamstring, according to the 49ers’ official injury report.

Boldin was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice before seeing his action dialed back as the 49ers continued to prepare for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. Boldin is the 49ers' leading receiver with 31 receptions for 372 yards and two touchdowns.

Running back Carlos Hyde was held out of practice again on Thursday as he continues to rest a stress fracture in his left foot.

Defensive tackle Tony Jerod-Eddie missed his second practice due to a family matter.

Linebacker NaVorro Bowman took part in limited practice due to a shoulder issue.

Again, quarterback Colin Kaepernick was a full participant in practice while also showing up on the list with a right-hand issue. He experienced swelling in his right thumb after the 49ers' game last week against the Seattle Seahawks.
