Deebo Samuel is back at 49ers practice, and he couldn't be happier. At the same time, he once again is frustrated with the NFL.
The 49ers receiver once again had to take a PED test, and he doesn't think this is a coincidence.
This isn't the first time this has happened, too. On Nov. 9, Samuel tweeted he already had been tested for PEDs five times despite playing in only four games at the time.
Samuel hasn't played since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 7. The hope always has been he would return to the 49ers after their Week 11 bye week, and that seems to be the case. That's huge news for the 49ers, who badly need a win Sunday over the Los Angeles Rams.
The second-year pro is a key player in Kyle Shanahan's offense. He's the perfect multi-skilled weapon who can hurt teams as a receiver or with the ball in his hands as a ball-carrier. Injuries have hampered Samuel this season, but his skills have shined when on the field.
All the 49ers can do now is hope Samuel takes his anger out on the Rams this Sunday in Los Angeles.
