Ex-49er Frank Gore ensures Adrian Peterson chats with rookie after game

When Frank Gore tells you to do something, you do it. Even if you're Adrian Peterson.

Former 49ers great Gore has an extensive history of his own as a 15-year veteran running back. He's making sure some of what he's learned along the way is taught to younger players, including his Bills teammate Devin Singletary.

Following the Bills' 24-9 win over Washington on Sunday, the teams exchanged handshakes and praise as they usually do. Gore made sure to get Peterson's attention to ensure he chatted with Singletary one-on-one:

The quick handshake exchange had Singletary walking off quickly, but Peterson wasn't done talking to him yet.

It's not certain exactly what was said, but the young running back continuously said he appreciated the words AD had given him during the exchange, so it's safe to say compliments came.

Singletary has been making a name for himself as a rookie this season with 267 rushing yards and three total touchdowns in five games.

To not only get Peterson's attention but have it backed up by Gore could only add to a very successful first season in the NFL.
