In the 49ers' 31-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Brandon Aiyuk had a breakout game on the field. It also showed in his PFF scores.
The sophomore wide receiver has been steadily progressing since the bye week, when he had a heart-to-heart talk with coach Kyle Shanahan. The receiver’s improved effort in practice has shown up in his production.
Aiyuk was one of Jimmy Garoppolo’s most reliable targets, with a season-high seven receptions for 85 yards and his third touchdown of the season. The quarterback has recorded a 145.6 passer rating when targeting Aiyuk over the last three games.

The offensive line allowed four total quarterback pressures. Alex Mack allowed one hurry, Daniel Brunskill was responsible for one sack of Garoppolo and rookie Jaylon Moore allowed a sack and a hurry.
On the other side of the ball, the defense was firing on all cylinders with several high PFF scores, only allowing the Jaguars 200 total yards on offense in 44 plays and 54 yards on the ground. For two weeks in a row, the 49ers owned the time of possession while also forcing multiple turnovers.

Offense
San Francisco 49ers
WR Brandon Aiyuk - 83.7
The Arizona State product received the top grade on offense, catching all seven of his targets for 85 yards and a score. Aiyuk also recorded 38 yards after the catch.
TE George Kittle - 83.0
The tight end caught all four of his targets for 34 yards and a touchdown while also receiving a 70.4 pass-blocking score. Kittle has caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive games for the first time in his career.
LT Trent Williams - 80.1
The Pro Bowl left tackle did not allow a quarterback pressure. Williams' 97.6 overall grade is still the highest of any player in the NFL. His 57.7 receiving score -- from the incompletion in the end zone -- brought down his overall score a little bit.
WR Deebo Samuel - 65.9
Samuel played like a running back on Sunday with eight carries for 79 yards, four of which resulted in first downs. Forty-nine of Samuel’s 79 yards came after contact, which gives the South Carolina product an average of 6.13 yards per carry after contact.

Defense
CB Josh Norman - 89.6
Norman showed why Kyle Shanahan wanted to keep him around after his taunting penalty in Week 5. The cornerback allowed one catch on three targets for 15 yards with one pass breakup. Norman’s forced fumble was his fifth on the year which is the most in the NFL.
S Talanoa Hufanga - 88.4
The rookie safety only played 16 defensive snaps but took advantage of all of them. Hufanga recorded two stops, and did not allow a catch on his one target.
DL Kevin Givens - 84.0
Givens was another player who took advantage of every opportunity. The defender played 15 snaps and registered two quarterback pressures -- one hit and one hurry. Givens was also responsible for a run stop.
DE Nick Bosa - 72.7
The star pass rusher registered a team-high five quarterback pressures - two sacks, one hit, and two hurries. Bosa also recorded three stops/tackles in 34 plays.
DL Arden Key - 70.9
The defensive lineman recorded three quarterback pressures in just 12 pass rushes - one sack, one hit, and one hurry.
The defensive line generated 15 total pressures on Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. In addition to Bosa, Key and Givens, Charles Omenihu (2), Azeez Al-Shaair (1), Samson Ebukam (1) and Arik Armstead (1) all made an impact on the quarterback.
