Jets coach Gase has NSFW reaction to blowout loss to 49ers

Despite losing multiple key players to mid-game injuries, the 49ers still managed to dominate the New York Jets on Sunday. San Francisco scored on its first offensive play of the game and never looked back.

Following the 31-13 defeat in which his team scored its lone touchdown with 1:23 remaining, Jets coach Adam Gase didn't mince words.

"I'm pissed right now," Gase told reporters. "I mean, that s--t's no fun going out there and getting your a-- beat. So, I mean, we need to get better fast."

It's still early, but the Jets are off to a terrible start. They were easily handled by the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, and didn't threaten the 49ers at any point Sunday, despite San Francisco playing the entire second half without starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and running back Raheem Mostert. Two weeks into the season, the Jets have been outscored 58-30.

Gang Green trailed for all but 17 seconds of Sunday's game, as Mostert scampered for an 80-yard touchdown on the very first play. It was exactly the kind of start the 49ers hoped for, and precisely the kind the lowly Jets hoped to avoid.

After the game, Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams either couldn't explain what went wrong, or didn't want to do so.

The first two weeks certainly haven't gone the way the 49ers had wanted, given the lengthy list of injuries. But clearly, if you look at the Jets, things could be a heck of a lot worse.
