The George Kittle-Jimmy Garoppolo bromance has only just begun. What started on Halloween 2017, when the 49ers traded for Garoppolo, should continue for years and years in Santa Clara.
That includes some ridiculous shirts, too.
"I have plenty, I'm just waiting for it to get here in the mail," Kittle said Wednesday morning on 95.7 The Game. "Usually it'll drop whenever I have to talk to our local reporters on the Zoom call.
"I like to throw some fun out there for Jimmy and I think he can enjoy it."
Kittle wore a shirt featuring a topless Garoppolo to his NFC Championship Game press conference after the 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers at Levi's Stadium. Garoppolo then arrived to training camp this year wearing a shirt of Kittle wearing that topless shirt. Get it? Check it out for yourself.
And when Kittle met the media Saturday for the first time since signing his five-year, $75 million extension, he wore a black T-shirt with “Garoppolo/Kittle ’20.”
It's Garoppolo's time to join the party again now. We know one thing's for sure, Kittle has plenty more T-shirt surprises up his sleeve.
