For the second straight week, the 49ers (2-7) will play under the prime time lights. Last week, they beat the Raiders on Thursday Night Football. This week, they host the New York Giants (1-7) on Monday Night Football.

After winning his NFL debut, Nick Mullens will once again start at quarterback for the 49ers. Last week, he completed 16 of his 22 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Can he duplicate that performance against the lowly Giants?

The 49ers' defense will get its first look at rookie running back Saquon Barkley, who has 519 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground so far this season. Through the air, Barkley has caught 58 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns.

Both the 49ers and Giants are in the running for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The 49ers enter as 3.5-point favorites over the Giants.
