NFL rumors: Antonio Brown requests trade, posts goodbye video to Steelers

Antonio Brown seems to be saying goodbye to Pittsburgh for real this time.

About a month after he thanked Pittsburgh Steelers fans on Twitter and said he wasn't bidding adieu, the wide receiver bid adieu to them in a Twitter video on Tuesday. Brown wrote that it's "time to move on and forward."

The song underneath? Lil Uzi Vert's "Do What I Want."

Minutes later, ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Brown has formally requested a trade from Pittsburgh.

Since the Steelers' season ended in Week 17 without Brown in the lineup, the All-Pro receiver has made it clear he wants to come to San Francisco and play for the 49ers. Despite his desires and the 49ers' obvious need at his position, Brown has plenty of red flags.

The NFL is investigating the 30-year-old for a Jan. 17 domestic incident in which he allegedly pushed his daughter's mother to the ground. He was not arrested and since has filed for sole custody of his daughter.

Brown is also facing a lawsuit in Florida for allegedly throwing furniture off of an apartment balcony. On Tuesday, he was found guilty of reckless driving in a Pennsylvania court.

Whether or not that discourages the 49ers -- or any other team -- from indulging his request remains to be seen.
