Tom Brady won't be joining the 49ers or Raiders.
After announcing on social media earlier Tuesday he will leave the New England Patriots, the six-time Super Bowl champion reportedly will be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brady and the Bucs have an agreement in principle on a contract worth roughly $30 million, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported, citing sources.

Brady's decision ends months of speculation about his future.
The 42-year-old hit free agency for the first time, and was linked to both the 49ers and Raiders throughout the offseason.
In the end, Brady won't be joining the 49ers, the team he grew up rooting for, or the Raiders, who are opening their new stadium in Las Vegas this season.

The 49ers will move forward with Jimmy Garoppolo, who helped them reach Super Bowl LIV last season.
