The 49ers have locked in Trent Williams.
NFL Media's Tom Pelissero reported early Wednesday morning that Williams and the 49ers agreed to a record-breaking six-year, $138.06 million contract.
The contract includes $55.1 million guaranteed and a $30.1 million signing bonus.
The record-setting deal now makes Williams the league's highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history.
Williams, 32, made his eighth straight Pro Bowl last season, his first with the 49ers. The 49ers traded a third-round pick and a fifth-round pick to the Washington Football Team for the star left tackle during the 2020 NFL Draft. That wound up being a steal.
The veteran was the highest-graded offensive tackle in the NFL last season by Pro Football Focus. He finished the year with a 91.9 grade.
The 49ers' top offseason priority now is taken care of with Williams coming back to the Bay, and staying for years to come.
