Well, that was easy.

49ers running back Raheem Mostert was off to the races on the first play from scrimmage Sunday, rushing 80 yards to give his team a ridiculously early 7-0 lead over the New York Jets.

The speedy Mostert sprinted 23.09 mph on the TD, according to Next Gen Stats. That's the fastest speed reached by a player over the last three seasons.

Mostert actually broke his own record. He reached 22.73 mph on his 76-yard touchdown reception last week against the Arizona Cardinals.

Mostert had 56 rushing yards and 95 receiving yards in the 49ers' Week 1 loss.
