SANTA CLARA -- In a likely indicator of the 49ers’ plan this week, Nick Mullens took the first snaps at quarterback in the team’s first practice since last week.
Mullens, who was the starter in the 49ers’ 34-3 victory over the Raiders, was first in line among the team’s three quarterbacks at practice on Tuesday. He is expected to remain as the team's starting quarterback for at least another week.
