49ers RB Mostert out for game vs. Jets with knee injury


The 49ers have ruled Raheem Mostert out for the remainder of Sunday's game at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets with an apparent knee injury.

The running back got the game started with an 80-yard touchdown on the first play from scrimmage, and ended the first half with 92 rushing yards.

San Francisco absolutely was ravaged by injuries in the first half, as defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas, along with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, were ruled out with injuries.

The 49ers were all over the Jets despite all the ailments, as San Francisco led 21-3 at the intermission.
