Report: 49ers offensive trio, Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin to play Sunday

If you’re fortunate enough to still be in the fantasy football playoffs and are counting on 49ers and Seahawks players to perform, we have good news: Matt Breida, Marquise Goodwin and Dante Pettis, as well as Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin, are all set to play Sunday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Breida missed last week’s 49ers win over the Broncos because of an ankle injury. He’s been battling ankle issues all season long, but when healthy, he’s been the 49ers best running back. If Breida is limited at all, Jeff Wilson Jr. will take over the bulk of the carries.

Pettis has been on a tear lately, with four touchdowns in his last three games. The rookie had his career-best game when the 49ers played these same Seahawks two weeks ago (five receptions for 129 yards and two TDs).

Goodwin returned last week after a two-game absence due to personal reasons, but he has been dealing with a calf injury. Although Goodwin is back, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said the veteran receiver might lose snaps because of Pettis’ emergence.

For the visiting Seahawks, Baldwin is set to play after missing one game with a hip injury. Baldwin scored a touchdown against the 49ers when the two squared off Dec. 2, but he has fought injuries all season, and he didn’t play last week for Seattle.
