Russell Wilson compares Seahawks-49ers clash to NFC Championship Game

"Monday Night Football" was anything but the typical feel of the first day of the workweek, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

The 49ers left Levi's Stadium with their first loss of the season to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime. The 27-24 victory for Russell Wilson and Co. had the Seahawks' star QB comparing the game to a playoff-like atmosphere:

Wilson also used the word "wild" to describe what he had just participated in. He drove the Seahawks for 40 yards in the final minute and half of overtime, which was highlighted by his 18-yard run to set up the game-winning field goal.

If you watched the game, you may have been one of those left on the edge of your seat saying "no way," while shouting an expletive in every now and then.

The 49ers fought tooth and nail, but didn't have enough weapons without their two best targets for Jimmy Garoppolo in Emmanuel Sanders, who left in the second quarter, and tight end George Kittle, who was inactive with knee and ankle issues

Given the way the Seahawks played combined with how relentless the 49ers' defense was, you can understand where Wilson was coming from.

It felt as though there was more on the line than just a win.
