The 49ers enter the 2020 NFL season as the league's sixth-highest valued team at $3.63 billion, according to Sportico.
San Francisco is the second-highest valued team in the NFC West, behind just the Los Angeles Rams, who are entering their first season at the brand new SoFi Stadium. The Dallas Cowboys ($6.43B), New England Patriots ($4.97B), Rams ($4.10B), New York Giants ($4.00B) and New York Jets ($3.70B) are the only teams ahead of the 49ers.
In the NFC West, the Seattle Seahawks ($3.08B) are ranked 15th in the NFL, and the Arizona Cardinals are 29th out of 32 teams at $2.22 billion.
According to Sportico, the average NFL team is worth slightly more than $3 billion. The 49ers are worth well above that, but the Cardinals are only of the lowest-valued team in football.
In 2013, Levi's bought the naming rights for the 49ers' stadium as they moved to Santa Clara. The contract called for Levi's to pay the city of Santa Clara $220.3 million over 20 years, with another five-year option for around $75 million.
