Two prominent 49ers alumni will announce the team’s draft picks in a few weeks.

On Thursday, the NFL announced 64 legends that will be announcing the second and third round picks of the draft. Round 2 Draft selections will be announced by previous NFL club first-round picks, while Round 3 will be announced by players who were drafted in later rounds. As such, former fullback and tight end Earl Cooper will announce San Francisco's second-round pick while Terrell Owens will go to the podium in the third round.

Cooper was the 13th overall pick of the 1980 draft. He went on to play for the club for six seasons and was a member of the Super Bowl XVI and XIX championship teams. He caught a touchdown pass from Joe Montana in the team’s win over the Bengals in Super Bowl XVI.

Owens was selected in the third round of the 1996 draft as the 89th overall pick and played for the 49ers for eight seasons. The five-time All-Pro wide receiver was also selected to the Pro Bowl six times and lead the league in receiving touchdowns in three different seasons (2001, 2002 and 2006).
