Houston-area attorney Tony Buzbee announced in a press conference Friday that five additional lawsuits will be filed against Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, bringing the total number of cases to 12 alleging misconduct and sexual assault.
Seven lawsuits currently have been filed in Texas against the star QB.
Buzbee also mentioned that he has spoken to 10 other women who have come to him with similar allegations against Watson.

The attorney claims that some of the allegations stem from incidents as recently as this month, and Buzbee will be providing information to the police about the women who intend to sue Watson.
Houston police tweeted a statement Friday afternoon that they are unaware of any contact between Buzbee and their department regarding the allegations.
Buzbee announced the first lawsuit on Tuesday, which Watson responded to with a social media post claiming he was offered a "baseless six-figure settlement demand" and that he would be "looking forward to clearing his name."
The NFL has said "the matter is under review" through league spokesperson Brian McCarthy.
NBC Sports Bay Area has obtained copies of the first three lawsuits against Watson, which detail the claims made against Watson. All seven of the lawsuits filed allege that Watson displayed inappropriate behavior against massage therapists in the Houston area, with one woman claiming that Watson forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Watson will be represented by attorney Rusty Hardin, who made a statement on Friday.
"I’m extremely proud to represent Deshaun Watson and wholly stand behind him against what we believe are meritless allegations. However, we'll wait to comment in detail until we’ve completed our review of the numerous, evolving allegations from Mr. Buzbee.
"We will respond next week and ask you to keep an open mind until we do so.”
Watson is a rumored trade target of the 49ers, and has been one of the NFL's top quarterbacks since coming into the league in 2017 with Houston.
