Vikings star Dalvin Cook to miss time with dislocated shoulder, torn labrum

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook tore his labrum and is expected to miss time,

Cook suffered the injury on a fumble late in the third quarter and had to be carted off the field shortly after the play.

Cook has battled injuries throughout his career, but when he's on the field, he's one of the best running backs in the league. He missed the final two weeks of the 2019 regular season with a chest injury before returning for the playoffs.

Cook ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns in an upset wild-card win over the New Orleans Saints before falling to the 49ers in the Divisional Round a week later.

The Vikings are currently 5-6 after their Week 12 loss to the 49ers and losing Cook is a huge blow to the Vikings' offense. Minnesota will have to rely on Alexander Mattison and rookie Kene Nwangwu to step up for Cook in the meantime.

Nwangwu has been a special teams weapon for the Vikings returning two kicks for touchdowns so far this season.
