Where 49ers' under-25 talent ranks on ESPN's NFL list

The 49ers have one of the league's best crop of rising stars, as they are among the top 10 on ESPN's rankings of NFL teams' talent under the age of 25.

San Francisco ranks sixth on ESPN's rankings, with rookie QB Trey Lance and All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner headlining an impressive group of players yet to hit their mid-20s.

The 49ers should have ample young contributors under 25 this season, as Brandon Aiyuk and Javon Kinlaw look to build off strong rookie seasons after being first-round picks in 2020.

Nick Bosa also has lots of 49ers personnel excited about his return after missing almost the entire 2020 season following an ACL injury in Week 2.

Dre Greenlaw also has looked to be a gem after being a fifth-round draft pick at linebacker, and rookies like Aaron Banks on the offensive line and Trey Sermon at running back also likely will see plenty of action in Year 1.

The 49ers actually fell one spot in the rankings year over year, and wideout Deebo Samuel graduated from the under-25 club after celebrating his birthday on Jan. 15 of this year.

After missing the playoffs in 2020, the 49ers are itching for a "revenge tour" to make a run at the Super Bowl.

The championship window certainly is open now for the 49ers, but the future also looks bright with this group of young players.
