Jimmy Garoppolo has dealt with quite a bit of criticism this offseason, despite helping lead the 49ers to Super Bowl LIV at the center of one of the NFL’s most prolific offenses.
Veteran quarterbacks around the league were tossed around by pundits as potential Garoppolo replacements throughout the offseason.
Jimmy G’s teammates, on the other hand, don’t feel the same way, continuing to support their quarterback at every turn.
"I just think he's going to continue to grow," Juszczyk told Baltimore’s 105.7 The Fan (h/t 49ers WebZone). "I feel like I've been his bodyguard this offseason, sticking up for him to everybody who's trying to take shots. I think there's no doubt that he's just going to continue to improve. It's his first season as a full-year starter, and he led us to a Super Bowl, had some incredible games."

While plenty of blame seems to rest on Garoppolo for San Francisco's Super Bowl defeat in February, Richard Sherman doesn't think the offense deserves the blame.
George Kittle and Arik Armstead both never bought into the rumors of the Niners seeking a new starter.
This isn’t the first time this offseason Juszczyk has sung Jimmy G’s praises this offseason.
The duo, with the addition of some impressive athletes in the NFL draft, should help make San Francisco’s offense one of the best in the league in 2020.
